There are so many people
who have unwanted facial hair, acne, or uneven skin tones and long to attain clear
skin which is highly desirable, but the majority of topical creams and serums
have been ineffective in achieving this goal. Acne usually leaves behind visible
scars on the dermal layer of the skin and even though scars do fade, it can
take quite a few years and for a lot of people that is too long.
Topical treatments can
help superficial scars, but deeper more pronounced scars usually need more
effective treatments. One of the best ways to exfoliate and help remove the
appearance of acne scars is with dermaplaning, which is similar to dermabrasion,
but it uses a small, sharp hand-held instrument to resurface and scrape off
upper layers of the skin. It is an invasive surgical scar treatment that
produces great results, but it can be expensive and inconvenient. Now, there is
a special dermaplaning device called Dermaflash that can be used in the comfort
of your own home that is easy to use, effective, and affordable, requiring no
visits to a plastic surgeon.
Not too long ago, I received
a Dermaflash Exfoliating Device as a gift. It is created by Dara Levy and it
gently exfoliates, removing peach fuzz, debris, and fine hairs as well as dead
skin from the lip, forehead, jawline, forehead, and cheek areas of the face. It
is designed to be used on dry skin and is safe for all skin types. Also, there
are no chemicals that need to be applied to the face before, during, or after
using Dermaflash and there are immediate results that can be seen and felt.
Applying a razor to your face may seem a little
intimidating at first, but it is actually a simple, safe, and painless process,
especially when using Dermaflash.
I usually like to remove hair from my upper lip, chin,
and part of my facial cheeks. I do not think that it is good to remove unwanted
facial hair with a regular razor and I do not use facial wax, but I have previously
used depilatories and a very small electric razor. From my personal experience,
just using a traditional razor does not exfoliate the skin well or improve the
complexion, so to achieve glowy skin, I
would use other means to exfoliate my skin such as scrubs and facial scrunchies
that worked well for me, so I was excited to try the Dermaflash device.
The Dermaflash comes kit comes with:
- Quick Start Guide
- Owners Manual
- Soothe 8 fl. Oz.
- Prep 8 fl. Oz.
- Power Supply Cord
- 6 Replaceable Blades
- Charging Base
The first thing to do is to apply the prep treatment
cleanser, then after your skin is dry, you can begin using the Dermaflash device. Slowly glide the device across the cheek, forehead, chin, and lip areas.
There will be a slight vibration during the process and after using the device,
apply the Soothe product to your face and your skin should feel clean, smooth, and
all of the fine hairs should be gone. This procedure should be repeated once a
week. If used more than once a week, your skin could become irritated, which is
not a good thing.
I know that you can use an exfoliator, such as a scrub or
scrunchie and a regular razor to remove the “fuzzies”, but Dermaflash does it
all at the same time, which makes things so much easier and faster. In my
opinion, Dermaflash is worth trying if you want your skin to be smoother, radiant,
and free of unwanted facial hair. Price: $189.00
