White Diamonds Elizabeth Taylor Eau De Toilette Spray (Review)

Of all the perfumes I have used over the years, White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor is absolutely my favorite fragrance. It comes in a beautiful 3.3 oz. size bottle with a lovely topper with elegant simulated diamonds below the cap. The bottle exudes class from every angle, just as I would expect from a fragrance that was made by Elizabeth Taylor- one of the most beautiful and talented actresses of all time.

It is not what is on the outside of the bottle that is the most important, but it is what is on the inside that really counts, which is the White Diamonds fragrance.  It is a lovely floral fragrance that consists of Tuberose, Orris, Neroli, Lily, Narcisse, Amber, Sandalwood, Patchouli, and Oakmoss.

I am usually fond of floral fragrances and I think that is why I love the rich floral essence that the White Diamonds Eau De Toilette embodies. When I first sprayed the fragrance onto my wrists, I smelled Lily and Tuberose, which are the top notes, then after a couple of hours, the middle notes of amber and sandalwood begin to surface, and finally bottom notes of Patchouli and Oakmoss become the dominant essences of the fragrance, adding warmth and depth.

White Diamonds is very strong when first applied in the early part of the day, but by the evening hours, the fragrance becomes more subdued.  It is a versatile fragrance that can be worn day or evening for casual wear, at work, or for a special event in the evening.  I love the versatility of White Diamonds and its ability to be worn on any occasion and season. Not all perfumes or eau de toilettes possess this ability, but White Diamonds does and that is one of the reasons why it is one of my favorite fragrances.

Even before going to sleep at night, I like to spray myself with White Diamonds, because the scent is soothing and helps me to relax before dozing off to sleep. I also apply it after a shower or bath and the lovely scent lasts a long time.

Not only was Elizabeth Taylor one of the most talented actresses in the world with the most beautiful violet eyes, but she created an exquisite, classy fragrance that is like no other and will be remembered for many years to come.
